This house is quite unique - look at the large gold Chinese lanterns in the living room left by our landlords! It is supposed to be bad feng shui to have a big black beam running through the middle of your house. So far we have been unsuccessful in getting them to remove the lanterns. Maybe they will grow on us?!! The kitchen is good size and has a great view of the garden. These photos are from before we moved in. I need to take some more with furniture...
